Mark grew up spending weekends in flag stations at various racetracks where his parents were Sports Car Club of America (SCCA) workers. He later raced semi-pro motocross as well as Formula Vees and Formula Fords. He is an eclectic collector/restorer whose collection spans the spectrum from microcars to full classics, many of which are Antique Automobile Club of America (AACA) National Award winners. Mark has restored a number of national-level concours class winners and his cars have been featured in numerous automotive publications. He is a past multi-term President of the local chapter of the BMW Club of America and is currently a Vice-President of the Town & Country Chapter of the National Woodie Club and is a retired high performance driving instructor. Mark practiced law for twenty eight years and was on the Amelia Island Concours Board of Directors for seven years before becoming the Vice Chairman.
